Lynn has experience as a wedding planner in Calgary and the Bow Valley for over 15 years and with hundreds of weddings to her credit, Lynn Fletcher is a leader in her field always striving to express love in different ways. She has the experience and creativity to ensure your wedding day perfectly suits you. She has been recognized on teams that have won international awards for Best Wedding in the world three times and takes great pride in never repeating the same wedding style twice. It all starts with listening. Then with the boundless enthusiasm of a true romantic Lynn gets to know the couple, ensuring that their day is a true reflection of who they are. She has an intuitive instinct for seeing and understanding the needs and desires of brides and grooms, even when they sometimes don’t know themselves. It often is difficult to tell who is more excited about the wedding, Lynn or her clients.
Lynn and her team play an active role in the event industry attending international training conferences and wedding shows worldwide to ensure that they stay on top of the latest trends and best ideas in the industry. LFW has memberships with ISES Calgary, the Calgary Bridal Association, and the Association of Bridal Consultants. As the President of the International Special Events Society (ISES), Calgary Chapter, Lynn takes on a leadership role in her community focusing on raising the bar for her colleagues and bringing valuable education to Calgary from all over the world. Lynn is also an instructor in Mount Royal University’s Event Management Certificate Program delivering The Business of Wedding Planning and Event Logistics courses as well as being an enthusiastic member of the curriculum development team and a proud recipient of the Distinguished Faculty Teaching Award in 2010. National appointments include Canadian President of the Wish Upon a Wedding Foundation. International board positions include serving on the ISES 2011 Eventworld Décor Committee and the ISES 2011 Esprit Award judging panel.
