Rebecca and Paul’s Sweet Mountain Wedding

Today we’re featuring one of our fall weddings – Rebecca and Paul’s celebration at the Chateau Lake Louise! This fabulous couple traveled from the U.K. to be married surrounded by a close group of friends and family – and LFW was fortunate to design and coordinate their special day.

We had some great help on hand with the incredible Nicole from Confetti Films capturing the day on film, and Julie Williams snapping photos – check out some of her fabulous shots.

There’s nothing like driving out to the mountains to make the dreams come true of a couple like Rebecca and Paul.

We’re so fortunate to live just an hours drive from the Rocky Mountains – and Lake Louise is an unbelievably gorgeous sight to see.

Rebecca and Paul were married on a warm September afternoon – we loved the rhinestones on their programs and stationery! The fabulous designs were courtesy of one of our favourite vendors – Dione from Plush Invitations.

We love a bride with a stunning, ruffly dress and hot heels to match! Rebecca looked amazing in her dream gown and white pumps.

The Lynn Fletcher Weddings team helped coordinate their intimate ceremony overlooking Lake Louise and the stunning mountains surrounding the wedding party. We used benches and pillows for the easy, laid back vibe Rebecca and Paul were looking for.

We have so many memories from the day with Rebecca – as she was getting ready to walk down the aisle, she was jumping up and down giggling, “I do! I do! I do!” Her amazing jacket and dress was inspired by wedding fashions of the British Royals – and she kept remarking to us throughout the day that their wedding was like a royal visit – everyone wanted a photo with her!

Immediately after the ceremony, the happy couple took advantage of the canoes for a post-wedding boat ride on the lake!

One of our favourite moments of the couple’s happy day – the Chateau Lake Louise is a world-famous destination with lots of visitors from around the globe. Rebecca and Paul had their very own paparazzi moment in the hotel – accosted by a swarm of tourists vying to get a shot of the newlyweds!

Rebecca and Paul wanted an elegant design to their reception – so we went with whites and creams with touches of silver and platinum for timeless décor.

One of the best parts of an intimate wedding is the time spent with friends and family celebrating with you. Rebecca and Paul crowded around the piano player throughout the evening belting out tunes.
