The Lynn Fletcher Weddings website has been having some updates… and now it’s all FINISHED!

It’s that time of year again…The Calgary Stampede! This past Saturday, July 9th, the 51st annual Chinook Stampede Breakfast rocked the city with over 65,000 guests attending. For the first time, it hosted the “Chinook Kids Corral” and LFW was manning the stations! This fast-paced area just for kids, included exciting features such as old-fashioned carnival games, 6 huge bouncy castles, face painting, a photo booth, and interactive tented stations sponsored by LEGO, Cookies by George, and Kernels popcorn.
Our LFW staff and volunteers dressed up in their friendliest, goofiest clown-cowboy inspired costumes, setting the theme for the overall event. The costumes amongst other elements like the balloon-arched entrance and 1000 balloons on sticks for the kids were sponsored by Chuckles.
The Chinook Kids Corral was a huge hit for the entire family! After gobbling up smartie infused pancakes topped with whipped toppings and special sauces, the kids hit the bouncy castles with feverish excitement! The parents were thrilled that there were virtually no line ups for the activities in the area. We were so glad to have made special memories for all those families and we were delighted to see the children’s faces as we gave them their balloons and high fives. We posed for many pictures, shook many little hands, got interviewed on television, and had cheek cramps from smiling so much. The laughter was palpable and the happiness we saw was infectious. We were honored to have been involved in such a huge Calgary Stampede tradition – The Chinook Stampede Breakfast!!
